I hear a lot about ProPresenter (ChurchMediaDesign.tv is doing a series on it here) and am hoping we can switch over to it at some point soon at Spirit of Joy. I've used both Easy Worship and MediaShout in worship. MediaShout is more customizable but EasyWorship is easier to use and operates more efficiently...it can playback video on computers with a lot less horsepower than MediaShout requires.

We use Pro-Presenter at Ginghamsburg... Used it for over almost 2 years. Before Pro-Presenter we used EZ worship... felt like we had more flexibility with ProPresenter because we are Mac based. ProPresenter still has its bugs, but it's always getting better with each update. I've been dying to use the live-video function in worship. It could still use more flexibility with song text, like being able to customize margins per slide. But overall, ProPresenter has been very user-friendly, and our unpaid servants pick it up pretty quick.
Wow, Tom. That was very poignant.

Traditionally we had the sermon as central. Singing and scripture was around that with singing a very important part. Now I am not sure- performance?? We had many praise bands, and many different songs that get played. Do we sing. Not really. Not su…

In New Zealand Advent comes as Summer is full tilt. I don't find it stressful. I love it! I have so many wonderful memories of Advent Moments that its hard to know what to share.

In 2000, I experienced the loss of my fiance, who died suddenly that April. As preparations began for Christmas, I was not very joyful and was at a loss for how to deal with my grief while others were celebrating. I attended a workshop at our local…
