Here's another clip from my video chat with Camron Ware and Stephen Proctor. About half way through our conversation they pulled out this old book published in 1949. The book is basically a media ministry handbook of back in the day. Take a listen to some of the great points the book makes:

And we all thought media ministry in churches was a thing pioneered in the 1990s. Little did we know 40 years earlier somebody was already laying the ground work. So why isn't what this book talks about common knowledge and practice for churches? Why do we still have churches that don't have a solid understanding of why they should be using media, a solid answer to their
"Why?" question. Maybe this book scared people away from harnessing the power of media because it is so cautionary (a problem I see a lot in mainline churches - sure you can use media but be careful...as if media ministry is an evil plague that could destroy your congregation if used incorrectly).
Thanks for reading. Come back tomorrow for another great blog post by
