Thanks for this. Not just your gift but the juxtaposition of your work now with Jesus lovers of the past.

Hi Charlene-thanks for asking and thanks for all your assistance! I have enjoyed watching you explore this medium! We haven't started a project yet. I'm waiting for just the right subject to use it.

Our next corporate art project is going to be the first weekend in February and we will be making the "silver" chair as mentioned in CSLewis' book "The Silver Chair". I got an old antique chair, made it sturdy and painted a base coat on it. For the project we will be writing "sins" on it then covering it over with silver leaf and embellishing it with silver chain and a skull and crossbones. Long story short, it will then serve as the chair for the "lost" daughter of our Prodigal God. I'll put pictures up when we do it.

Thanks for all of your sharing on y-tube and on CWT! You are awesome! Linda

Did you get the starter set, or just individual colors of the encaustic block paint? I've ordered the books from Amazon, and I am leaning towards getting individual colors instead of the sample pack. Is Dick Blick the cheapest place to get it? Are you using just brushes or are you also using the spatulas? So many questions!! :) have a lovely day! Linda

Wow, Charlene and Linda on the same web site. Two of the most creative best artists around together in one place. I can't wait to see what comes of this. Linda, it was seeing Charlene's videos that inspired me to start invading youtube. Charlene, Linda was one of the first people to take an interest in A.M.O.K. I've had the privilege of ministering at Red and it was an awesome experience. The amount of creativity that goes into a service there is truly amazing. Glad the two of you have "met."

Linda, I think I have deleted a comment of yours by mistake!! My apologies. You can do what Stephen does. Talk to him about what is needed, or trawl around on his website. I think environmental projections would go great at a RED event. Its an easy…

Nice stuff Cyndi. I like the thinking you have done around what you do, before you do it! Not enough people make that kind of close contextualisation to their congregation. Nice.

Thanks, again, to Eric Herron for his "Show and Tell" post! Glad I could be a "guinea pig" for this new way to connect with others on the site. Anyway, I mentioned that I created a PowerPoint presentation to go with the Genesis 1 creation story. It…

This makes me think about what my high school jazz teacher said: "It is the silence between the notes that creates the rhythm." Saying this was one of the ways he motivated antsy, immature, 16 yr. old jazz musicians to stop playing so many notes wh…
